WHO ARE WE?
The Her Campaign is a 501-c3 Non-Profit Organization that exists to provide restoration for victims of sexual exploitation.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children estimates that each year at least 100,000 children are the human products meeting the demand of the sex trafficking industry in the U.S. alone. The average entry age for young girls in America into the sex industry is 12-14 years old.
Her Campaign creates media campaigns and documentaries providing awareness about injustice and bringing hope to those affected by trauma and sex trafficking. Our current documentary bringing to light facts about this illicit industry through one survivor's healing journey of coming face to face with her past will be released Spring of 2018.
We know that this is a huge undertaking and one that we are unequipped to handle alone. We at the Her Campaign put a grand emphasis on building our teams of strategic partners, resources, professional, community and ministry leaders to help in the process of caring for these women.
The lack of safe shelters across the nation is preventing first respondents from succeeding in protecting and gaining justice for the victims of sex trafficking. The current situation of domestic sex trafficking victims being placed in general population incarceration or being returned to the home in which they fled is detrimental to all parties. The system is flawed.
The Her Campaign desires to offer a second option to the system. In this alternative option, we aim to provide a loving and safe environment, one-on-one extensive care, and shelter for victims of sex trafficking through the entire healing journey. We partner with the best professionals and resources to provide trauma-informed care, counseling, education, and the necessary steps to provide a new future for each woman dealing with after effects of trauma.
